Best of 2012 & Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I am so thrilled to close out another wonderful year of blogging. I have had a blast and am so grateful for each and every one of my readers. After taking some time off for the holidays to stuff my face and see a lot of wonderful people, I am excited to get back to work developing healthy recipes and sharing them with you.

One of the unique challenges of being a food blogger is that it can be very hard to predict which recipes/posts people will really respond to. Sometimes I make a dish that I love and am shocked that my readers are ambivalent about it or I am overwhelmed by the response to other dishes. This year was no exception.

I decided to make this the top recipes posted in 2012. Some of 2011’s winners are still quite popular, particularly Cuban Rice & Beans, General Tso’s Chicken, and Mexican Chicken Stew. And, at the end of this post, I’ll share my top 5 favorite recipes of 2012 that did not get a lot of internet love.
